Organization Overview
RAIN: Sustainable Water Management
Mission: To develop, promote, and implement sustainable water management solutions globally, contributing to community health, food security, livelihood, and climate change resilience.
Vision: To be a leading thought leader and implementer in the field of sustainable water management, ensuring equitable access to water resources and fostering a healthy environment for all.
History: RAIN was founded by AidEnvironment as a separate entity eighteen years ago. Over time, RAIN has become a recognized expert in sustainable water management. In 2014, RAIN transitioned into a brand of AidEnvironment. In 2022, as AidEnvironment expanded its work in water access, Water Management (RAIN) has grown into its own theme and focus area.
Core Purpose: To address the global water crisis by providing integrated water resource management (IWRM) solutions that increase water access, improve climate change resilience, enhance food security, and provide access to drinking water and sanitation services (WASH). RAIN focuses on practical, sustainable solutions that benefit communities and the environment.
